We started hosting tournaments in 1996. We started out hosting boys and girls events in Cambridge, Ohio. Each year we continued to grow more and more. By 2001, we were hosting over 30 events for girls and boys in 5 states. In 2003, we decided to start a "girls only" association the GBA. The Girls Basketball Association just had its 5th year anniversary hosting over 30 tournaments, over 8,000 girls played in 2007, and we went 9 weekends in a row with over 100 teams playing!

In 2007, we wanted to start a NEW high energy "GRADE SCHOOL DIVISION". We wanted to host both boys and girls teams in grades 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th. We wanted to have the OHIO GRADE SCHOOL STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS. In 2007, we had over 60 teams sign up to play in our event. We were excited! All games was played at SPORTS PLUS in Cincinnati, Ohio. In 2008 we had over 75 teams signed up……then came to BLIZZARD OF 2008…..The event was cancelled and due to scheduling we could not re-schedule the tournament.

In 2009, we hosted over 60 teams again. All games are played at McGee's Courts 4 Sports in Mason, Ohio. The event is one of the best in the STATE! Great courts, great tournament staff, and great trophies!

Our 2010 event hopes to host over 100 teams playing for the 2010 Ohio Grade School State Championships!
